This year was a little crazy with Mom getting ready to leave on a mission so instead of doing the usual traditions for mothers and daughters we just had a big sleep over at Mom's house. We had a lot of fun. Everyone made it except we only got Melissa Jane (Doug's Melissa) for a few hours. I love my sisters! (That includes all the sister-in-laws too.) They are so much fun to talk to, laugh with, and play games with.
This is Melinda, Tasilyn, Melinda, Megan, Saedi, and Kellan watching the kids play on the big blow-up water slide.Shalyn (on the water slide) Elisabeth, and Andrew.
Bennion, Emma, Shalyn, Elisabeth, Gene Boy, McKenna, and Porter.
Mom, Celeste, Zoetta, and Lori finishing the first quilt we tied. My Mom's relief society tied a lot of quilts for an activity to donate and my Mom wasn't able to make it so she took some of the quilts to finish on her own. She ran out of time and didn't know if she was going to finish them before she left so we all helped her get them done.
Kellan fell asleep in the bouncing horse while we were tying the quilt.
We stayed up really late playing games. They were all laughing their heads off. It must have been really late. :) (I unfortunately had a migraine and was sick on the couch.)
I had so much fun playing with all the girls. My favorite part was when my Mom had us all sit down together and we had a little meeting. My Mom asked each of us to share one way the Lord has blessed us this past year. It was so fun to listen to all the blessings that have been poured out upon my family this year. We are so blessed. And we are so blessed to have each other!

Hmm, these pictures all look awfully familiar! :) I love how your family does the Mothers and Daughters tradition. I need to start that in my family. What an amazing family you have! Looks like tons of fun. I feel so blessed to know you and to have met some of your family. I know your parents will be incredible missionaries!
LOVED IT. So fun.
