On Christmas Eve we made gingerbread houses. The teams were Eric and Gilbert against everyone else. We had no idea what they were doing, but this is how theirs turned out. Now honestly whose looks better? I do have to say this for them though, the inside was pretty spectacular. It had tile, a fire place, Mrs. Clause, and a self portrait of Eric. We had lots of fun! Jim did the frosting while Megan and Melinda decorated the coordinating looking candy. Bennion and Gene Boy did the other candy and I did the red frosting. This was actually my first time ever making a gingerbread house.
I love how compationate they look. LOL There was no surprise that there was tile inside, & I bet all the corners were perfectly straight. LOL See you at the game tonight???
I love it! So funny! It was so good seeing you over christmas. Well, there is a new girl in my ward (I am new too) but her name is Ari and she knows you from SF high school. I didn't catch her maiden name though.
Just a little note to say have fun in Spanish Fork the rest of the week! Don't get snowed in...no ditching out of speaking in church or you will never live that one down! :) Drive safe!
Gilbert and I have been married for five wonderful years. We have a three year little boy and a girl on her way. Who ever knew kids could be so much fun?
To put the world right in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right.

"The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother."
--Theodore Hesburgh
"We fancy that God can only manage His world with big battalions when all the while He is doing it by beautiful babies. When a wrong wants righting, or a truth wants preaching, or a continent wants opening, God sends a baby into the world ...perhaps in a simple home and of some obscure mother. And then God puts the idea into the mother's heart, and she puts it into the baby's mind. And then God waits. The greatest forces in the world are not the earthquakes and thunderbolts. The greatest forces in the world are babies.
--E.T. Sullivan
"It is wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father loves us--even with all our flaws! His love is such that even should we give up on ourselves, He never will. We see ourselves in terms of yesterday and today. Our Heavenly Father sees us in terms of forever. Although we might settle for less, Heavenly Father won't, for He sees us as the glorious beings we are capable of becoming."
--Joseph B. Wirthlin

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."--Dr. Seuss
"The real losers are those who are so afraid of losing that they don't even try."
"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."
